building coop in same area I have grapes and blueberries

Mine go for the lower ones where it is the thickest but they will grab a limb, or me, and get as high as they can. Around the edges they look like speckeledhens pic, jumping for all they are worth. I have about 2 acres of wild blackberries that they go after and they go wild for the wild cherry trees and the persimmons once they get soft.

mine love blueberries off our plants. I am sure that they would wipe out the bushes for as high as they could reach. Same way with the grapes. At first they might really be after them but if you can get them to live they would probably not eat to kill just eat to enjoy.

I want blueberry bushes, how much does a good size bush sell for? I want blackberries and raspberries too! I want grapes but not concord

Well that is very good to know because we are building a new coop and run this year and the place I am thinking of putting it has been a blackberry patch. Each year we try to cut them down and get rid of them because they just take over everything. Maybe this will be the year we can finally do that with the help of my chickens! Thank you!

They love raspberries too, even my old girl Grace (8) jumps to get them

My chickens will eat blueberries frozen also! They love them as a hot summer treat. I save a bag from the summer harvest to use as chicken treats.
