Building defeat..

How much pitch does the roof have? How old is the roof? Maybe the gaskets have broken down on the metal roofing screws and are allowing water penetration onto the rafters that flow down to the load bearing wall then down the wall.
It’s a flat roof. Not sure how old it is but that could definitely be the issue. I’m scared to get on the roof 😅 may need reinforcements to check that! Thank you

I agree with Dobie (and aart), that is exactly what I was thinking looking at the pic of the wet spot. Just because that is where the puddle is, doesn't mean that is where it is leaking. Due to the surface tension of water, leaks tend to "cling" to studs and rafters as they run downhill. I just had to help my brother repair water damage from a leaking upstairs bathroom and the downstairs puddle was not at all where expected.

Do you mean flat as in completely level, or flat as in it has no gable? The diagram pic you posted shows a shed type roof which is "flat" but has a pitch (slanted).

Exactly what I was going to say. We just found a leak in our goat barn. The roof was damaged in a freak snowstorm. We thought we'd repaired it all, but it rained the other day. We found a puddle where the water followed a rafter to a stud and made a puddle at the base of a wall. And it was a tiny leak, really. We patched it with roof patch and replaced a few shingles. Fingers crossed it works!

But it looked exactly like what you have there.

Flat? Do you mean mono-pitch? Is the wall with the door on it higher than the back wall or the same height? With the way the roofing has been installed, the pitch should run left/right, not front to back. And if it actually is flat, that must be corrected pronto by making it pitched.
