I'd love to build my own coop. Has anyone built at least a 7 foot tall coop? I'm ready for chickens, but I am 6'2 and wanting to deep litter. Thoughts?

Welcome to BYC.
There's no reason that you couldn't build an 8' walk in coop and run. Standard 2 x4s come in lengths just shy of 8' and you will save time on making cuts. You'll also have plenty of ventilation room.

My coop is a converted shed so I have 8 ft tall walls on one side and 7 on the other.
