It's looking great! The plywood siding is a neat idea. I do recommend adding an angled brace to the door to keep it from sagging.

Yep. Bracing the door is on the to do list. There are a lot of little trim and bits and pieces I'll get to at the end.

Ordered a turnbuckle and a spring for the door on amazon.

Another nice thing is a latch on the inside of the door, so nobody escapes while you are in. Also, very important, make sure there is a several inch lip under the door to the sleeping part, so bedding doesn’t fall out when you open the door or for the pop door to make sure the chickens don’t knock bedding out.

Already bought the latch because I had the same exact thought haha

As for the bed area, good tip! One really nice thing @ThatsMyPurseIdontknowyou is going to do is make it so that it's a tray that, after I collect eggs, I can pull out to dump spent bedding and clean the area more easily.

Worked about 6 hours on it today. Got most of the shiplap done. Just have the detail work around the door area left.
