What is that gap at the bottom?

Hindsight...could have left the gap at the top for ventilation?
Maybe it has another purpose and not sure what your roof plans are.

The gap is a miscalculation in dimentions. I just need to cut some more pieces to fit in. The roof overhand is going to be open for ventilation.

Gotcha...I figured cut the studs to 4' forgetting the bottom and top plates....no worries, you can work it out.

Hi. This will be my 1st winter with chickens. I made my coop bigger last weekend, but still need to do a little more work.
