Hello all... I am currently building my coop and run, and thought I would post some progress pictures here. This is my first attempt at coop construction so I am hoping I am doing it right! The coop is roughly 8x8 and started out with two sections of an old pier for the floor.

The floor will be covered with a a smooth covered plywood so that nothing can get through the pier slats from the bottom. Eventually the entire bottom part will be fenced off with rock piled up to floor level. The run will be completely covered with chicken ware, and the bottom 3' will be welded wire with picket fence slats over it. I have two nesters built in, and a set of doors next to the main door so that bedding can be easily pulled out. I have one 2'1' window which will open into the run.. the window on the side is for light only.
