Building New Coop/Barn...Phase 5 Great Barn Build, OCCUPIED! 3/6/16

Pics
Permitting and inspections can be a necessary 'evil', mutttsfan provided a great example.

I find it odd tho that the inspector for SH did not have the property line info when he showed up...shows that all inspection is not 'up to snuff'.

I understand the inspection stuff for actual houses and where density is much greater than here as well. Next to my own late father's house, the Venezuelans are building a house inside their INGROUND POOL! You can bet that it will be reported very soon. They have it all covered up with huge tents to hide it, but it's hard to hide something like that. I just haven't made waves yet. That is inside the city limits of a very densely populated suburb of Atlanta. They are related to my father's wife, which is how he met her.

Our view across the barn site. Fall is in full swing.

Coming back from the mailbox the other day, I noticed the colors on the mountain and snapped this and that's what started my fall pics. We had been so busy, we really hadn't noticed how far along they were. DH plans to move his satellite dishes to behind the outbuildings at some point, he says. We do use those for our television still. Most folks have no idea that Free-to-Air still exists, but it sure does, just a PITA to manage.

I have free to air, refuse to pay, I get 5-9 stations....but my antennae needs some attention, haven't found someone trustworthy to work on it yet.

Fall pics are great!

Did the drain system today. Again, ouch.

Before:

We used the 4" perforated corrugated pipe. We will soon see how it does in the rain since this week, it's expected to rain for several days.
