Building our first coop!

We are in the process of designing a coop for our 6 Red Pullets, ideal size?? We have plenty of room so I plan on quite a large run area.

Common perception is 2 - 4 sq feet of coop space per bird and 10 sq feet of run per bird.

Thank you! My husband was insisting on 1-2 sq ft per bird but I thought it was more.

I go with 2 on all my breeding coops. And honestly, that looks like too much when they all go on the SAME roost no matter how much space I give them lol.
