building paradise for the birds

just venting thats all...but how many other people out there get them the same condition and dont say anything....they are a great place to buy from i like their stock so i decided to get some....i was just in aw at the customer service and the quality of the second batch...and now that i did some looking into it...i dont blame them for not doing anything about customer service ....i wouldnt want to sit in a railroad car in florida weather....and make calls....if that is really there office....i would be really shocked if they made some individual sit in that thing and make calls and emails... on a good note i like there birds...just not this set...so hoping for something better....

so just got an email (gff) saying that the batch they just sent me were out of all three pens that they have...they said they would make it right and i should expect something soon....so im excited to see what they have in mind...still nothing has been set in stone on when but the email made me believe that it should be this coming tuesday the birds will be sent out...i also apologized for being such a pain in the butt...but i just want the best and hope for the best...as with anyone else with their birds...i asked a couple more questions about the two different breeds and what to expect when they get older...now to just play the waiting game...seems like they have a nice setup and they are trying to make it right...so ill ease up on them a bit...and hope something good comes from it...maybe less pressure and nagging is what is needed right now...well see...see yah guys in a bit

Awesome! Do you have a sportsman incubator?

Mr young ee x roo is officially "retired" he is skipping freezer camp all together, jumping directly to the oven with his best good chum, Mr extra scovy drake.

The young roo dressed out nice, shared dinner with extended family and her two children 3 of 5 of us have never had duck. Nice family meal coming together.

Thank you for your part in our meal birdman.

no problem...nothing like good ol fresh chicken...i think two of our roos will be doing the same real quick.....
update on the farm....so moved the quail eggs over...and 23 were not good...oh boy...that would tell me those eggs were sitting for quite a long time...lesson learned...the other shipped eggs....only two or four werent good...so not bad there...on my chicken eggs..only one wasnt good...great on that...and the 18 ornamentals well 9 didnt make it...they were the first batch of eggs do go thru...and the only ones that made it thru were the red goldens..bummer...so the males must not be doing there jobs...my conclusion based on a couple hundred of my own eggs with the tek trol....is that it works.....and helps...normally i would have 2-5 eggs out of 30 not develop and i can assure you they are fertile...i used the product and only one didnt make it...(clear) not even starting to develop....that is what the pheasant/ quail eggs looked like as well.....anyways super nice day...got the first set of hardware cloth on....onto the next....be back later with a bunch of pics...see yah and thanks for watching....

I know I'm way late, and you may already have the answer, but I used rabbit cage J clamp (with a J clamp pliers) to join my sections of hardware cloth to each other and to the 2x4 fencing I'm also using. It wasn't easy, but they work just fine, and I haven't had any rust from them, where some of my other hardware on the coop itself has rusted and will need to be replaced.

I got a bag of clamps that I didn't put a dent in (I have a small run) and I bought the mid-range pliers.
