i still have alot of chickens...like over 100...i am getting rid of 30 in the morning...

wow everyone i never thought i would be free ranging hundred dollar chickens....but the svart honas are liking their free range..i shall get pics sometime soon

I probably missed this, so apologies in advance if you've already talked about it - will you be breeding the Honas to sell eventually?

I think its awesome you are letting them. They deserve a good natural life out of a pen whenever possible. Folks thought I was crazy with my lavender orps free ranging, but my breeding roo is massive now, and they are happy birds. Common breed now but sure weren't a few years ago.

can you pm me aart with his info...i would like to get them...soon enough i will have a whole backyard of fibro birds....i cant wait...they are truly amazing to look at...you can see the flaws in the ones that have them....and with any bird...their are people that import them illegally...which you can see those birds are way different from the standard toni marie line and the netherlands kind...so amazing what people can advertise and get away with and then make money on...its to bad..but gotta love america

if you have a rooster you shouldnt have anything to worry about...i know when something is in the yard or flying above the roosters sound off then the female chickens, then the pheasants, and then the peacocks....so you know when something is there that shouldnt be....

got rid of 23 birds today....still over 100 chickens...up to about 15 polish now....quail are sold that just hatched...everything is going well other then the building of new pens...been to busy working, cleaning the yard, garden...which is awful looking because of the clay...but other then that it has been good...should have a camera next week...so back to take some pics....you guys will love the peach goldens they are getting their color in now...they are so pretty...have a great day everyone

Hello everyone-

Had a great vacation with Birdman and his lady. Went down river and loved it so much that I am hoping to do it again when I have my next vacation around mid September, early October. Had to have alot of help getting out of the raft and walking up to the shore from Birdman. Was very difficult trying to put my sandals on and walking on the rocks in the water after having a few cocktails. Had a great time and alot of good laughs. Brought back some day old chicks and am in the process today of building an add on to our coop. Can't wait til it's completed.
