building paradise for the birds

sorry i havnt been on for a bit....almost went to the hospital...104 temp..was fainting...constant pressure on my head, vomiting, the other end...the whole she bangs...was very painful and havnt eaten until today...i feel exhausted...however we moved the cemani and svart honas to the back...moved like 70 plus quail to the breeding pens, hatch 94 more and in a day or so should have more quail and more pheasants....seems like this is where its put me in a predicament when people wanna say oh i do this for the birds and keeping the best stock possible...but i have made fliers with numbers and the whole thing on it...and placed them everywhere...point im getting at...is im sure when i cant sell any of the goldens and then i call my wholesale buyer and they come pick up the birds and put them in the freezer...and then what people are going to view me as a bad person...? for doing so... when everyone gets into the bird business one must think to themselves that you will have alot of people call and say they want something and then dont pull thru...there has been so many incidences just this season alone...that no wonder y people just do large scale and just wholesale to a big wholesaler...the wholesale wont deal with you unless you have a set number of birds...and then they take them all just like that...i think after doing all of this bird adventure the one bird i will keep producing is quail...small area, grow fast, cheap, produce eggs quick and alot of them...i bet i have hatched close to a 500 now and have another 500 in the incubator.... and they are all sold...mostly before they are even hatched..i need to order more quail racks...going to be getting different kinds of quail as well...some for dog training....seems like there is a huge market....even in different states...not to mention they are on raised pens, disease is a minimum and they are easy to clean and so on....anyways not to sound rude or anything with this shpeal however everyone knows how blunt i am...so there it is...not feeling well again so have a good day...

Sorry to hear. Hope you're feeling better soon. :)

Health first man no good to the birds if your layed up in the hospital. Get some rest and take it easy for a few days. Bet youve got more than one person to call that is more than willing lend a hand. I'll be there myself just as soon as I master instant transmission but until than can't stress it enough, take it easy. Please.
Attimus out.

well all is better health wise...however they come in threes....after i got better i ended up flipping a four wheeler...the one guy broke his leg and i was hurt pretty bad..no broken bones...so thats a good thing...anyways....i got back about 50 ornamentals...and they are looking great....got rid of 300 quail and about 10 ornamental pheasants along with about 20 other pheasants, pretty much all my polish and gave away some ornamentals...still downsizing..however still so many birds its crazy...anyways been busy..was hurt for about four days with the roll over but now better...its been so crazy here...my dog made a meal out of one of my svarts and one of my cemani.....bummer...i guess thats an easy way how to downsize...and one problem with teaching dogs things...anyways hope all is well...i should be out of this area within two weeks....so well see what happens...

Were you renting where you built all those enclosures.... will you be able to come back to them..... take them with you...??
What a lot of cash outlay and effort to walk away from!

our family owns the house and land....the land was bought for a retirement place to get away from the city life...just found out today that my job offer is no longer available...and unless i figure something else out i will be stuck in this lovely city/area...i need to find some good news...seems like i have found myself in just a downward sloping momentum....gff also sent me another message saying their birds werent up to standards yet again and they are pushing me back yet another week...like i didnt see that coming...again...well i moved a bunch of females pheasants into the back to increase my numbers...one got out.....and now its a free ranger. hope it comes back...anyways trying to keep my head up...have a great day everyone...see you guys soon with some pics

Well at least you won't lose all the bird ranch you've built there in the long run.
You were going to move away from the bird ranch for a job.......and now that's off the table?
GFF should give you a refund.
Best of luck to you....hope something works out.

Brolo condito we are with you. Crazy about the quad flip, that could have ended a lot worse, glad you are OK. Just moving my few chickens around can get tough, your task must be arduous. And bummer about the fibros, I've actually been coming across a lot of pit bull/chicken owners lately. Im sure training them on top of everything else hasn't been easy and there were bound to be losses. It just happened that he got the pricey ones. Things always have a weird way of working themselves out. Keep the faith and stay positive.

Everything is true, nothing is forbidden.
