wish me luck, my first hatch. Still along ways to go. Just set them the other morning. Hopefully I'll have some good pics to post here in a few weeks.

Happy hatching~

I just am venturing into ducks myself...I have some call ducks in the incubator and I got some more eggs yesterday. Hoping it will be pretty neat!

Keep on... moving on...
well we ended up getting rid of the ducks....maybe next year

Hi, Just checking in to say hi and that I am still holding a good thought for you. I am gardening here as well.
thanks....we are planting the potatoes today and the onions today....and going to be planting all of the flowers tomorrow

Thanks so much for the eggs Kris, all 30 showed up intact.

Keeping my fingers crossed for good hatch rates.

glad you got them and they were all intact....and none were broken....people if you are trying to send eggs that would be the best method...sent quiet a few now out and have had zero break....so this is the best method for sure....wishing the best of luck for your hatch cant wait....dont forget to take them and separate them into their kinds in the hatcher cause they will all hatch out black...and then you wont know.....

OK Birdman, here they are. I think they don't like the camera. lol
they are so pretty looks like you got a 50/50 spread there....they look so nice the colored ones are the hmong roosters....but its a bummer you cant tell if they are hmong females....but they are so beautiful...arnt they so weird to look at in your back yard...right now we are at about 75 fibro birds....and we are not slowing down on the fibros this year or any year to come....we have a buyer for every bird we dont want...so super excited....we also met a chemist at a brewery and he gave me some contact info to a restaurant for the fibro birds and quail as well...so i need to get my quail back....so anyone watching that has gotten quail from me please get in contact with me...thanks

also you might have to separate the roosters in a couple of months when they mature...they will get more color as well as they age...their colors when mature are something else....i just had to remove a ayam cemani breeder male because he got beat up pretty bad....and he was my better breeder....hes doing alot better but man those ayams are so crazy....and huge....

Great picture of the dogs Kris. They are so curious lol. And thanks again for those eggs. That really is a good way to pack them. Only had a few saddled aircells and a few questionables, could make out the rest for the most part. Still think I need a better light for candling but it works.
Great looking fresh shellfish. I've only eaten shrimp raw once, guy at the sushi place often we go to asked if we wanted to try something "really nice" and held up a live one. I'm all in on something like that. He killed and cleaned it right there took out the meat and sent the shell into the kitchen, sliced the meat nice and thin seasoned with a little ricewine vinegar and some Saki. It was great. Even better, the shell came back out on a plate displayed and bright red. The reason for this, we were to eat the cooked brain. I was instantly a fan. Super buttery and salty, almost nutty. Won't forget that taste.
