the incubator viewing window about to be cut out...lexan plexi for anyone wanting to know...

I love this concept, with the first stage brooder above the incubator!!

Those compressors are heavy.

Lexan brand name is polycarbonate.
Plexiglass brand name is acrylic.
Which are you using?
Polycarb is tougher but more $$.

Will you use double glaze the viewing windows, inside and out, or just single glazed?

lexan polycarbonate...yea it was like 25 for the one larger sheet....and as for single or double....it will be single for right now...the inside is still the fridge so you can image how not flat it is...so until I figure out how to do that part.....if I cut it out then all that insulation will come with it...so this hatch will be single and then I might redo if the fridge bator works out ...the insides alittle nicer....im going to build more coolerbators just incase it doesn't work out

well I would love to load pics...but seems like there is a problem...I have tried all day and it wont let me post any pics...so I have no idea what to do...tried restarting the computer...taking new pics and everything still a no go....so I guess ill keep trying and when I can post there will be plenty of pics...till then...im taking a break from byc...this has me in a bundle...

ahhhhhhh....well I don't know...anyways....the bottom door of the fridge is cut ....had to take a grinder to make it go by faster....glad thing the lady wasn't home for that...I could only imagine what she would have said...sparks flying looking like the house is burning down or something....but its all done and tomorrow ill be getting more materials for the fridgebator...now just have to find a vehicle to pick up the big lumber for the brooders and such...and then get delivered the new peafowl pens...boys this should be fun...going to have homedepot just deliver it to the house...its only 71 bucks....so not to bad I guess....well the chicks are getting so much bigger now...and should be getting some of my eggs to Louisiana soon...hope you enjoy the eggs thy southern friend...lol...wish I had that weather....its about zero degrees and snowing right now...and looks like mom and my aunt are coming up to visit....so gotta get this thing out of the kitchen...its been two days of walking around this thing...ahhh soon enough...once the viewing window is glued and in then the wires, controls, and shelves...then test run....should be that much longer...I think im going to buy more coolerbator stuff tomorrow...well see you in the morning for hopefully some pics well see
