well morning...it snowed so I hope I can still dig in the ground for the last few coops...got a bunch of eggs this morning heres some pics....17 eggs today




 
well working on the last wall....then im going to start digging up the rest of the coops bases...I have to do this before the ground freezes...be back in a flash
 
well last wall done.....and are you kidding me...SNOW...a lot of it..so here is some pics
working on the wire on the inside...couldn't just hold the snow till I was done...this will get interesting...my hands are frozen...grrrrr



you can see the area in back done for right now and covered...also you can see the area on which we are going to make the duck palace at...I will have a set of peafowl in there as well....ahhh in due time..it shall look nice



they don't see to mind snow at all...they should go inside but they don't..they stay outside all day and night....weird
 
yeah I really wish I could have got the top on it...so tommarow the top goes on and if not im moving the birds to my greenhouse with the peafowl....so well see...until then...see yah peeps
 
Love how its looking! Showing my DH all your pictures. We are getting excited for our summer breeding pen builds. I plan to have a quail pen also but on the ground this year. I have raised them 2 years now, and really enjoy the coturnix. This is Speckles my favorite hen waiting for some mealworms!




They become very friendly, just like pheasant or any bird for that matter, with socializing.
 
Looking awesome! Can't wait until spring to see all these babies we will be having. Make sure you bring me some eggs this weekend. Auntie found her peacock at the campground down the road from where they live. Any ideas on how Kenny can catch him?
