Glad you got healed up birdman. I would love a pond, have always wanted land with a pond. Then I would have me some ducks too, lol.

well i got to see gma not to long ago....ok maybe a while ago....but finally put the pics on here...it was good to spend some time with her....that is for sure...i showed her some of the pics on here and some of the videos...she approves and likes the chickens and other birds....it makes her feel like she was back on the farm....

so these little boogers were running around outside in the greenhouse one day when mae seen them.....she picked them up and brought them inside...so even in zero degree weather i guess you can still hatch chickens....and they lived to....i guess you really dont need to regulate the temp all that much like i was doing last year....

and ofcourse i had to post this....so we were in the craving of shrimp and i figured i deserved it...after all i lost hearing in my right ear not to long ago and was in the hospital...then sick for a week after that happened....so now that i feel ok....still not right and some of my hearing came back but doctors are not sure what happened...i was supposed to go back and i never did...they were talking about having surgery and i dont have time for that....but yeah anyone seen shrimp this size or bigger....and for some reason the asparagus that we got was super big....like twice the size they are normally....like as thick as a quarter....crazy huh....well i will get more pics on here tom.....as i had to reboot the computer and update it and now it works....

Wow that's a big shrimp, where did you find em that big? Sorry about your hearing loss Chris, 2015 was not a good year for you. Glad to hear that some of the hearing has come back. Let's hope that it will heal itself entirely. Isn't it amazing how tough chicks truly are. I had 2 broodys hatch around Christmas ~ crazy birds :gig

Birdman's Mom here-

Birdman was turning 16 and was three days away from going to the DMV and getting his license when he was knocked off a four wheeler, flipped up in the air and landed on both of his hands in the midst of winter. Dad and mom had just gotten home from wrestling practice to have Kristopher come in the driveway with both of his hands swollen. Couldn't get his glove off his one hand. Rushed him to the emergency room only to find out that he broke one of his wrists and fractured the other. Had to wait until the following Monday to get him in to see an orthopedic surgeon and have both of his wrists put in casts. School was a trip for him as he was the only kid that had broken both his wrists and couldn't do any homework. Good thing he had a girlfriend at the time. She pretty much waited on him hand and foot. Mom didn't have to. Ask him about taking a shower, or bath, or wiping his butt!!!!! Could not be done!!!!!! Love you son!

Those babies are so cute. I wish I could have been there to see them hatch.

We're expecting a major winter storm today here in Oshkosh, WI. Predicting anywhere from 6 to 11 inches. All the schools around here are closed today. Oh I can't wait.

I can't wait to retire and move to my land where Birdman lives now. Could happen sooner than later. I'm just waiting until everything gets finished up there, like that pond and a new house! Hint, Hint.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi birdman Mom, that had to be horrible for Chris. I know how difficult it was when I fell a few years ago & broke one wrist & severely sprained the other. A cast on one & a splint on the other made life difficult, but at least I could take off the splint when I had to use the bathroom. 16 year old boy & needing help for bathroom stuff had to be horrible. I'm sure birdman can't wait for you to retire & move up here by him.

Yeah, I had to have a ligament reattached on a knuckle my senior year. Jammed the finger repeatedly during football that year and it was starting to give me issues by the end of the season. And of course it was my right hand, so that I couldn't hardly use that hand. was a real pain in the butt trying to figure out how to wipe my butt with the left. So awkward.
