building paradise for the birds

Everybody wish EamEam55 a great big "Happy Birthday". You have taken on a huge responsibility taking care of all the birds and you have to celebrate your birthday with the birds and dogs--no Birdman. He certainly owes you one big birthday present when he gets back. You can do it!! Even though we are all so many miles away from each other, you can certainly count on alot of support. We are all here for you. You can do it!!! Beautiful pictures. I will be up there the end of July to help.

Love you.
Birdman's Mom

Happy birthday, you sure have your hands full these days. Keep it up

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I've been quite busy here. But will keep posting more pictures soon.

I will be putting more phesants eggs in the hatcher tomorrow and hoping for more peaches. The two that hatched are doing great though they are not as strong as the others but of course birdman didn't want them separated. They seem so content and are more active now. I haven't had any luck with our silvers yet. Fingers crossed.

They are slowing down on egg production so I didn't go hatching crazy lol and since my hmong roo got into my cemani pen I won't be hatching their eggs for awhile either so that will give me time to focus on the ones that I've hatched.

I've got two open hoop coops and hoping to get two more built, and no I will not be doing it by myself. (Just look at my brooder.)

Birdman is doing fine and I'm pretty sure he misses posting on here and reading all the forums. He'll just have to catch up later. Until he's back to lead this flock, I appreciate all the feed back and comments.

I had two from the previous hatch but one die it just kept falling down and then stopped drinking and eating. I had to move the last one with the recent hatch because it was feathering out but still looked small like a new hatched chick. I have two in lockdown and one was starting to hatch so hopefully.

just getting one or two at a time is how it's been going with my bantam hen, she's on her own as far as laying so we've only been able to get a couple eggs under each broody, 3 under the last so hopefully not to many boys. But finally starting to bring their numbers up.
How's Chris doing? He's probably building little cages to keep pigeons in to keep himself busy and pass the time. Lol
