Lesson learned got home yesterday to all dead birds on the teepees. Something came thru and killed them all. I will still use the teepees however this season has taught me that nothing stays on the teepees after dark.

Miner blue rooster going to be the breeder and he is always by ur feet like one day he’s gunna hit me. Be back with some more pics and thanks for following

So I’d like to start out n say this time of year for everyone is tough. Cold rainy and not so good for birds. Especially if u have overlooked some aspects when building coops. This journey I have taken you guys on with me so far has been one to remember and one to learn from. I have seen just about it all. (Frozen birds in the winter, diseases, birds bloody and damaged from fighting and even a total collapse of a greenhouse that was 30’x36’ at a 10,000$ expense.) but the moral of the story is u keep pushing forward n u don’t let that slow u down. My topic today is worming and how I do and my thoughts. Ever have a bird that looks to be yawning opening its mouth almost gasping for air. Worms.....
Here is a great article I found

That is what they are about to do. I was able to catch all the free rangers and this hen was my last to catch for the Gamefowl so now to catch all of the black free ranging chickens

These small cages are great for a pair. They work so well and are very cheap to build. I can build this coop cheaper it’s just set up for snow. It’s snowing right now and this has been the second time it’s snowed this week. Nothing sticks to the ground but I have so much cleanup to do with the yard I am not ready for sure but I’ll keep trucking along. See u next time
