    hi everyone!
I am totally new at all this and just loving it so far [IMG]~

I first bought a rabbit hutch and modified it. I was okay until something(possum or raccoon) almost got the girls. It completely shredded the wood door. So the hunt began for a coop and run plans.
I think I did a great Job! it has been in use now for a couple of weeks and has worked great!
If I can do this so can anyone!
of course we had to decorate it also...[IMG]
    so what do you think....

p.s. we are going to plant strawberries and herbs on the top.

    Hi everyone!
    Thanks for the great comments.
the total length is 8.5 feet and 4hx4w.
I would have loved to go bigger but I have a HOA [IMG] that is always around so I do let the girls out in the day in another fenced in area of the yard with lots of grass, they love it.
I have a white rock, buff orphington, black austrolorp and a RIR.
should be getting eggs 2nd week of june! yeah![IMG]
and the rocks arent just to be pretty, they are in a trench about 10 inches down with glass to prevent digging all around. lots of stuff was recycled! the rocks from a neighbor and all the hardware and the door was from the rabbit hutch [IMG] that went wrong. the door was the rabbit roof! it was probably less than $100 I spent on the roof panel and hardware cloth and very little wood and the decorations were ebay finds![IMG] oh and cant forget the suncatchers my kids made are my favorite!

That is just adorable.....you have decorative talent, gal, not to mention carpenter talent, too.

I love the "Welcome to the Coop" sign.

I *love* it!! Wonderful job! And I really like your decorations, too! I would love to see the one on the front of the coop ... looks like two chickens next to a barn, maybe?

VERY cute, and I bet your girls really enjoy their new digs!!

Are you going to plant anything on the roof of their run?
