Bulblefoot in toe

Hi, my hen has recently developed bumblefoot right at the front of her middle toe on the pad. There’s a large scab and slight swelling/ redness. I have removed the scab a couple times and not found anything. I have also been soaking the foot for 15 minuets most days. I removed the scab today to found a few small white bits but nothing else. I then saw a white hard bit further in but I’m worried it’s bone or something?! I dug round a bit and some white fluid came from it but it’s very hard and fairly deep so didn’t want to harm something that I shouldn’t be touching! Is this likely to be bone or is it the core?
