I spoke to soon. I went out this morning to gather eggs and found that she was being ganged up on. They we going after her comb and had drawn blood. I rescued her but I think it was too late.

She resting now in the woodshed on some fresh hay. If she's still alive when DH gets home he will take care of her. Whatever she was sick with had clearly taken it's toll, she is skin and bones. Poor thing. We tried our best.
