Ok so I've been totally freaking out over my duck eegs. Temp has been a bear to get regular, and I just knew for sure I killed them when it jumped to 103 for a couple of min. I decided to try and candle them even though I knew after only three days I wouldn't see any viens. Although I had remembered reading somewhere here that you can see a bullseye around 3-4 days signaling a developing embryo. I HAVE BULLSEYES!!!!

I was SO FREAKED OUT!!! I'm not totally screwing up!!! YAY!!! Then, I was laying infront of the bator watching the temp to make sure it would go back to 99-100, no more or no less, after turning them and my 4 year old daughter (Lizzy) came and looked at it and said "Are they gonna crack?" I said "No, not yet they have to sleep in the incubator for a few days first. Then they can come out of the eggs" Then she said in a really cute sweet way, "They gotta sleep in the inkybaker?" I lost it the way she said it was so funny!

so cute! I love how kids think of little animals. My son who is 18 months watched me candle eggs a few days ago and he saw the chick moving on day 10he askks what that I told him baby chicken. Its in the only white egg and he squeals BEBE! and reaches over and kisses the egg haha at least it wasn't a dirty egg. I'm pregnant right now so that what he does when he kisses my tummy.

When I was pregnant with my now nine month old she would hug on my belly and kiss it but when I got her to feel when Marlee (My nine month old daughter) was kicking she freaked out! LOL. She adores her little sister though and Marlee loves her big sister Lizzy and is so facinated by her. They play so well together and I was so worried they wouldn't. Thats super cute though about your boy. I love it when they do/say things like that.
