I have a chick who turned into a surprising bully, being the smallest of the 4. This chick now has 2 of the 4 following (her?). But the 4th chick of the group is being isolated. Should I worry for the isolated chick? I have intervened when the bully was being most ferocious. I think that was made worse when the temperature rose suddenly one afternoon, and the brooder box got rather warm. So things cooled down and so did little Ferosh chick. Still wants to boss everybody, but that's OK. Just worried about chick #4.

Well, I feel like a ninny. They are all getting along this morning.
To answer all the appropriate questions:
1. They are 5 days old
2. The brooder is 30 in. L X 20 in. W X 24 in. H
3. I do have 2 feeding stations for dry food and fermented (actually more for dry if you count the fact that I started scattering chick starter on top of the Brinsea plate.

I guess I just need to learn how the chicks work things out. That little Buckeye seems so ferocious with the others, but they seem to be falling in line, and the violence level is dropping.
