Bully pullet, do I separate or not.

They are co-existing again with the normal charge and stand tall here and there but no outright bullying, for today at least.

I am concerned about one of the girls who was not leaving the coop. She has a few Mareks symptoms showing so praying her vax will help her get through. The bullied hen does not seem to have the same symptoms but these two will have to be watched more closely. It could be a mix of the bullying and not feeling well enough to leave that is keeping them in.

I've been tossing my older girls a little dry cat food to up the protein in their diet.(they're molting) It's motivates the younger pullets to peck around & scratch instead of hide.
My girls love cat treats! Hahaha I toss them a handful when I forget to close the door into the garage, that leads to our house, and need to get them outside quick before pooping too much. The cat treats are right there and it works amazingly well 😂

I toss scratch and meal worms to get them out and scratching during the winter.

Today was the 1st time I've went out and found them chilling out together (young & old ) Its taken 10 weeks so far ( all flocks are different )

I am going through a similar situation, but my pullets are 8mo, and one of them is picking on #2 in the pecking order that is 2 1/2yrs. Since there has been no blood drawn or injuries, I've just let them work it out. Things have calmed down a bit between the 2 of them, but I still see occasional chasing
Make sure the younger pulley has lots of places to hide and duck out of danger, I noticed the pulleys will run for cover and the older hens chase but will not go under or over anything to get to them … So lots of hiding places. 👍🐣🐥🐔🥚

My younger pullet was the bully, lol, it has sorted itself out, but thank you
