So this little girl has one leg that goes straight back. She can move it. The other leg is perfectly fine. But how do I know if it’s sparsely leg vs dislocated hip vs a hundred other things? I tied it up overnight and she can now put it underneath her.

Leg bone deformities (varus or valgus, or a twisted tibia,) and a slipped tendon are common issues in chicks. I would use some super B complex tablets 1/4 tablet daily crushed and dissolved in a small amount of water, and given orally. You can also use Poultry Cell, SaveAChick, or Polyvisol without iron baby vitamins.
