Bumble foot help needed

In the pics it looks like you have two 'bumbles' both with scabs as if they haven't been treated. Did you do anything to them before you bandaged them again? I don't have any bumblefoot experience myself (but read a lot on here!) and it looks to me like you need to do the surgery again and remove these new scabs and all the pus before bandaging. Good luck!

Yes there are two spots. We did remove the scab and squeezed out the puss. The black in the one is from corn starch as she started bleeding extremely bad and it wouldn’t stop with just holding pressure.

In my experience, and according to my vet, surgery can worsen bumblefoot. There is no always a "kernel" that can be removed, and especially when that is the case, there is a high likelihood the infection remains. Others on BYC have reportedly treated with surgery, but usually with the use of keeping the chicken isolated, wrapping with antibiotic cream, and/or treating with antibiotics.

Others on BYC have reportedly treated with surgery, but usually with the use of keeping the chicken isolated, wrapping with antibiotic cream, and/or treating with antibiotics.

She is isolated, with foot wrapped with ointment and on antibiotics. Thanks for your reply.
