About two weeks ago, I noticed one of my three year old Americana hens had a bump on her foot. It looked like one of my older hens who had bumble foot, but it didn't have the black scab above or below it. But in the center of her foot, she did have the black scab, but it was further away from the other so they can't be connected or anything. I figured the one on top was just beginning so I soaked and treated the one on the bottom and waited to do anything with the top until it developed so I wouldn't have to cut it open. Last week the skin had started peeling so I soaked it and pulled at it with tweezers. Nothing happened, so I put a little pressure on to try to get stuff out. Yellowish pus started to slowly come out, so I started to push a little more. Then pus squirted out at me. It then started to rapidly bleed. I took a cotton ball and held it on for a minute or two until it stopped bleeding. Then I treated it like I would bumblefoot, I sprayed hydrogen peroxide on it, put on a clean cotton ball with some neosporn, and tightly, but not too tightly, wrapped it with medical tape. The next day, it looked a little deflated, so I figured it worked. I didn't want to stress her out again so I just re wrapped it. The next day I saw it had the scab like bumble foot, so I did the same thing. But that time, no puss came out, it just bled. I stopped the bleeding and re wrapped it. Next day, same thing. I'm not so sure it bumble foot now, because bumblefoot usually doesn't bleed, and especially not as much as it did. I've been re wrapping it every day, but I haven't pulled at the skin for a few days, I want to wait until I know for sure so I don't stress her out anymore more than needed. I attached some pictures below. The first two is the thing I'm questioning and the last one is the definite bumblefoot on the bottom of her foot (after I already pulled the stuff out. And the quality isn't so great, the spots to the left are just from my camera, not actually a part of her foot). Any ideas of what it could be or possible treatment methods are appreciated, thanks!

Oh, and she also has leg mites, I've been treating for the, as well. Does anyone know how to tell if they're gone? I know it can take awhile for the legs to heal, I've been putting coconut oil and petroleum jelly on, I heard they're supposed to help.
