Hello so I have two pekin ducks and I’ve had a bumble foot problem with them for I would say 2 to 3 weeks and it seems to be getting better but I cannot get the scab off simply because I can’t find the scab. There is a bump on the foot but what looks like the scab is actually just the skin. I soak their feet in Epson salt every day and then apply colorless iodine and then Neosporin. I don’t have duck socks so instead I use normal socks and keep them wrapped around the feet. I would like to know if what I am doing is OK and I would also like to know if I’m allowed to let them swim in my swimming pool I saw some people say that it is safe and others say otherwise

Hi! are you sure we are dealing with bumble? If so the infection is under the skin and should be lanced, cleaned, and wrapped. That's what I would do with a chicken, not sure if ducks would be the same. Could you get us a few pics of said bumble?

How about some pictures of what this bumble looks like. Not all present with a scab my Runner had one that didn't scab.
