One of chickens has bumble foot .. One foot is definite, the other looks like a very early start!

I soaked her feet in warm water and Epsom salt. The very early foot hardly had a scab on it and came right off.. I covered it with Epsom salt poultice and wrapped her with surgical tape. The other foot, as I was removing the scab it kind of opened up and a small amount of puss was coming out. I didn't really going digging around in there.. I covered it with the Epsom salt poultice and taped that foot as well..

Any other suggestions? Did I do everything correct? I'm trying to do this the least invasive way possible..

I am treating Einstein right now who has minor bumblefoot with Prid...it seems to be helping. I am on day 8 of the prid though.

I read about that stuff.. It had great reviews! Good luck.. I hope it works for you!

How do I know if I got all of the infection out? I don't want to try and heal her cut with the infection still in there!

Ok -I've watched soo many videos and I'm sure there is a scab and the pad of her foot is slightly swollen and firm.. But today I worked up the courage to actually "cut out" the infection and I'm so afraid I'm cutting healthy tissue and not bumble foot. The infection is definitely not bad at all.. I bandaged her up with antibacterial ointment and left her alone bc I couldn't get anything out! I don't know what I'm doing. Does anyone have any advise? Also, it's about 15-20 degrees here and snowing.. Can she be bandaged outside? Will the ointment freeze and cause frost bite?
