Bumblefoot antibiotics

Hi. Is baytril the best antibiotic for a duck with bumblefoot? If so what strength do I need please ? Xxx

I use neosprin (a really lovely friend brings it over for me from USA) and amoxicillin.
I also use betadine.

They are capsules, I mix the contents with a little yogurt and it gets woofed down.
I will try to find the dosage but
I can’t get to my hen first aid box at the moment. I would need to get up some stairs and I am currently in my wheelchair but I will nab my hubby as soon as he gets back from shopping.

well, I wish my ducks would like things like yogurt they avoid it like I’m giving them poison ! I open the capsule, separate it into portions to get the correct amount and then put the portion into a tiny little cuppy and add a syringe of water, mix it and draw it back up. Then I give it to them by syringe course you have to be very careful not to aspirate them.
