My Rhode island Red has bumblefoot and last night I tried the surgery. So last night I had all the stuff to do the surgery. When I brought her in I noticed Bumble in the other foot is getting it also. I started with soaking her feet in epsom salt and cholor lots of other letters 2% solution. There was more blood than the videos and I never found a kernel. I did pull out all the white non meat kind of stringy looking stuff then cleaned the wound with VetRx and Betadine finished with Neosporin and wrapped with non-stick gauze and vetwrap. The other foot isn't as swollen as the first one so I took off the small black spot hit it with Vetrx and Betadine a big glob of neosporin and wrapped it. I just couldn't do the surgery again after the first foot. If anyone can advise me as to what more I can do for her. Please let me know. Thank you for the assistance as I can use it.

Sorry you had such a tough time. Let's hope you got it all out and it's done. At this point, keep it clean, change bandages regularly and keep an eye on it, hopefully it will heal up and you can be done.
Depending on the size/severity of the bumble it can sometimes be treated topically, or non-surgically by soaking and just removing the lesion itself with all the gunk behind it. I usually try this first and if I can't get it all then I consider surgery. If it comes back, you can retreat later once the foot has recovered a bit from this go round. I have had cases where it was very difficult to get it all out and it took repeated treatments to get it all. Sometimes it all comes out easy and you're done. Every one is a bit different. If you see signs of secondary infection you may need to treat that with an antibiotic, just keep an eye on it. If you have any manuka honey, use that on both feet, it can help, I use it often. Here is a link to a non surgical option for future reference. https://www.tillysnest.com/2015/12/non-surgical-bumblefoot-treatment.html/?spref=pi
"chlor lots of other letters" was probably chlorhexidine, very good to use, I have it on hand always. :)

Chlorhexidine is right. I bought a gallon jug.
