Bumblefoot- HELP, PLEASE!!

Our turkey has possible bumblefoot- bottom is really swollen and does have a black scar/ scab. We hadn't noticed this but then yesterday we noticed the bottom of her foot swollen and that she was limping. We did some research and figured it was probably bumblefoot. We have started soaking her foot in epsom salt, betadine, and warm water. After soaking, we use gloves and put on antibiotic cream without pain killer.
Will what I am currently doing help and solve the problem, or are we doing this in vain?
