I don’t see any pictures attached to your post.....Hi,
Can anyone confirm if this is bumble foot or something else please? Xxx
Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully it is there now xxxI don’t see any pictures attached to your post.....
Yes, sorry I didn't let you know sooner, I don't have much experience with bumble foot but know it is best to have pictures.@Colley12 can you see it now? Xxx
I use human things for my birds' feet. When they get bumblefoot, I soak their feet to get the scab loose, remove the scab, squeeze out any pus I can (if any), pack the resulting hole with antibiotic ointment, apply gauze, and wrap with vet wrap. I do this every 1-2 days. It takes a loooong time for duckie feet to heal. We're talking weeks of treatment.I hope someone who can help me sees this.
I've managed to get the scab off. I don't know if that's good or bad because I only had an iodine patch and gauze to put on.
My son and I have struggled to wrap it up but did. They she got excited about her peas and stood in her water. Any suggestions what I can clean and dress it with please?
I only have human things. Fucidin, germolene etc xxx
Thank you @Aunt Angus. I didn't know what to do so put a bit of sudocrem on. I've got myself too stressed. I'll hopefully wake up with a clearer thinking head. Some folks use duck booties. I can never get them to stay on, though.
