So I go out today to check on my chickens and ducks refill there water, feed, etc and I find noot noot ( our female pekin duck) limping and collapsing on the ground. So when I was looking at her legs and feet i see the black scab in the middle of her webbing and instantly thought of bumblefoot. I have her in a warm water bath right now but I cant do much beyond that at the moment due to lack of transportation and I'm watching my little sister. Any tips on what I can do right now to help her out? I don't have Epsom salt or anything like that atm. I do have some gauze, ace bandage, and some vetericyn antimicrobial poultry care.
UPDATE: We just got some Epsom salt and are having her soak in a lukewarm bath with the salt in it. she is still limping and falling constantly and she's starting to give up on moving much at all unless she's in a bath or pool of water where she can move a lot easier. should I just try and heal it naturally in the soak and keep it bandaged/ clean since its fresh or try to remove it quickly?
