Hello;

We have read some previous postings, but want to be sure we treat this correctly (new to raising ducks). If there is another link I should look at please let me know.

We have one 7 week old Pekin and one 7 week old Cayuga. The Pekin is limping and we looked at the underside of her feet and see a couple spots that we assume are bumble foot.

What is the process to take care of this?

They are still living in the brooder in a bathroom until their outside pen is complete. They get warm bathtub time every night and pond time during the day. They are being fed Manna Pro Duck Starter Grower Crumble (3/4) mixed with rolled oats (1/4). Should they be on additional vitamins?

I have photos below of the Pekin's feet

Thank you!

Welcome to BYC! Can you take a video of the duck walking, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, then copy and paste the link here?
Thank you - my daughter is going down now to get a video. She started limping today and we noticed it when she was out of the pond (man-made small decorative pond) on the grass.

Can I ask you why you are cutting the feed with oats?

The duck feed is a complete diet...when you cut it with something you are taking away from the complete balance diet which includes much need vitamins and minerals.
