Hi All,
I've been reading this forum for months and have read just about everything on the internet about bumblefoot. One of my hens has it, I've done the soaking in epsom salt, picking off the scab, applying neosporin and wrapping, twice a day for about 5 days. I tried slitting the pad with a razor but I don't have the nerve to go deep enough (I guess). My question: does the corn have to be removed in order for the foot to heal. How deep do I have to cut into my poor chicken's pad......... it really is no fun!
By the way, the things I've read here are fantastic.
Thanks,
Ruth
