One of my chickens has a small scab in the middle of her foot. I worry it may be bumblefoot but she hasn't shown any signs of pain or other telltale bumblefoot symptoms (redness, swelling, etc). She's as happy as ever and I don't know if I should do something about it now or just wait? I don't want to start messing around with it if it's nothing serious.

I have also just noticed another smaller one just above and now I'm a worried

Yes that is bumblefoot, but a nice small compact version. Soak feet in warm epsom salt for around 15 minutes, then gently try and pull the plug, then be ready to dress the foot with antibiotic cream and bandage it over.

congratulations, they are small and look like they are old and healing. She is otherwise well, just be careful not to open it up to being exposed to poo & damp.

I might just wash and put cream on it without removing the plug, she looks like she is already getting better.

oh! and I think it might be her perch that is the issue, maybe give them something softer or less splinters to perch on... smoother...
