Bumblefoot or something systemic?

I have a Golden Comet who started limping a few days ago. Initially I couldn't find anything wrong with her foot, but by yesterday morning I saw a black spot on her foot, and it felt hard, so the diagnosis of bumblefoot seemed to check out. I treated her accordingly.

What doesn't seem right is that although the sore on her foot is quite small, she's limping badly and also shaking her head a lot. I thought the head shaking might be a sign of pain but I don't see anything about that on the internet.

Yesterday morning after finding the black spot I put on drawing paste and put homeopathic remedies in the water (arnica 200c and silicea 6x, per a post here, though I didn't have the third remedy and have ordered it). That was all I could do quickly before running out to work. By evening when I got back she was perkier and I had time to give her an epsom salt and iodine foot bath, then put on an antimicrobial treatment (a mix of ozonated olive oil to kill the staph plus DMSO to help it get into her foot), and bandaged it up with gauze.

I'd hoped to find her continuing to improve today, but she has regressed and is limping just as badly as yesterday morning, and the head shaking is also pretty bad.

This all came on pretty abruptly on Thursday, so I don't think it's a slow onset illness. I lost a chicken to Marek's a year ago, and this doesn't look at all like that.

I shot a video of her shaking her head (btw she's eating just fine). Couldn't get her limping as well, so just trust me, it's bad. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pQYyyfUKIpNgsE6vbN5TxTfL_9vlVkcH/view?usp=sharing

Since there's a bumble, could this really just be bumblefoot or does it sound like there's something else going on?

Hi, you didn't mention if you cut to get the infection out or if your drawing salve drew it out.

If she's still suffering from bumble, it'd be hard to single out the head shaking, although that's not typical. Head shaking could be she's got a sinus infection to boot. Does she have any nostril drainage and how do her eyes look?

Head shaking can also be neurological or vitamin deficiencies, but if she just started this and you haven't changed feeds or treat quantities in the life of her, then I doubt it's that.

Thanks for the reply! I didn't cut it, since from what I read it sounds like when it's ready I'll be able to scrape the scab off and the infection will come out without me having to do surgery. The drawing salve didn't do the job in the single application.

Her nostrils, beak, and eyes all look completely normal, and when I'm holding her to take care of her foot she doesn't shake her head.

I haven't changed anything at all about diet, treats, or water in the past couple of months.
