Bumblefoot pic added

My BR hen, the one in the hard molt kept pulling her leg up. I examined it today and the pad is swollen. I cannot see an entry wound or anything but if you push on the pad, you can feel it is "squishy".

What do I do? Do I give her antibiotics? Must I isolate her? She walks around and the others are not picking on her at all.

edited to add, I see the plug now and it is indeed bumblefoot.

I am looking into that. I don't see a scab or anything but I need to examine closer when someone is home to help.

It is the bottom of the pad that is swollen.

Well, I didn't see anything until I layed her on my lap. There it is big as day. Do I have to take it out? I mean cut her foot?

Ellie, I sent you an email. Yes, it's bumblefoot. I told you how to treat it in the email, just wash your hands or wear rubber gloves since it's a staph infection.

Poor girl is in a terrible molt, isn't she?
