My Wyandotte has had bumblefoot for several months now. We've been trying to remove it with multiple home removals but it's still there. She's also molting. AND around two weeks ago, a bobcat killed one of her flock mates (we had five chickens and now we have four). I can tell that the flock is still traumatized by that attack as they are a lot more skittish and on alert.

The Wyandotte just laid a very soft shelled egg and she hasn't laid a egg in quite some time. Is the bumblefoot the primary cause of the soft shell egg? Or could it be the predator attack?

Thank you!

The bumble foot should not have caused that egg, but it could be because she is stressed out about the attack.
