Bumblefoot problems - please help!

Don't misunderstand, I truly believe that the Tricide saved my EE girl from a fairly immediate death. I couldn't find a kernal in the swelling and it was pretty severe. She would have been dead by now from the staph infection if I hadn't found a treatment. It is expensive, though. You can mix it in smaller than gallon batches at 1.5 Tablespoon per half gallon to conserve the powder (weighed and measured by me last fall.)

I agree. I will keep it on hand but now I know to watch for early signs and jump on it quick. I am getting to the point where I just cannot see well enough up close like that. I keep telling the eye doctor I don't need to see very far out there...anything out there will get closer at some point and I can look at it then. He still hasn't got it.

Thanks for all the responses! I did a lot of searching on bumblefoot and I did not come across the post that you referenced, PrincessChicky. We have a really good local store for backyard ponds and aquariums and I bet I can get that Tricide-Neo powder there. I just wish I had realized what was going on sooner ... I saw her limping a little one day and (stupidly) thought, oh, I hope she feels better tomorrow! I didn't start treating it till a couple of days later. If I had acted that first day, it probably would have been a lot easier to treat.

Thanks again ..
