Hello, one of our 1.5yo hens has developed bumblefoot, likely stemming from a foot injury. We believe we caught the infection early and for the last two and a half weeks we've been treating her by soaking her feet in warm epsom salt baths twice daily and bandaging the feet. We apply antibiotic ointment, antimicrobial spray, and iodine. Until a few days ago, we've been seeing major improvement. The swelling had gone down significantly and the scab seemed to be healing. Now we've noticed the development of two pus spots and a return of the swelling. We have a vet appointment scheduled for next Tuesday, but are wondering if there's anything we can be doing to help treat better before then. The hen, Baba Yaga, is still in good spirits, eating and walking normally. Photo of the foot with the pus spots attached. Also attached a photo of Baba receiving her spa treatment.

Can you re-load the photo of her foot to a larger size so we can zoom in on it? Hard to see.
Baba Yaga looks like she's enjoying her spa:)

Without being able to see it well, I would take a guess that not all the infection or kernel was removed from the foot and that's the cause of the swelling.
