Bumblefoot Removed

Removed Bumblefoot from my hen that had 4 sores on her foot. Used Prid salve for 4 days

to draw up infection and was able to pull out the infection.

don't know what bumblefoot is but I'm looking it up now. Hope I don't have to deal with it.

Hello, I'm so glad you are able to take care of your chicken like that and I'm grateful she's better! I worry that I may have to deal with that someday and will I be able to do it so I check my chickens when I can. I have a question for you.... today I noticed that a few of my pullets have sores from being pecked or scratched, what should I do?

Congrats on your success! I'm dealing with bumblefoot on 3 of our hens. When you used the Prid, did you wrap it? Once a day for 4 days? Did you debride the scab first? Soak in water with Epsom salts? Would love to know how you got the great results. Thanks.
