A few weeks back I posted about my hen limping. She wound up with bumblefoot. I had gotten the scab off and she blead a little. But then a few days later I read something about making sure to get the "kernal" out. I had never seen one because there blood covered the wound. So I went in again and debrided it some more. The second time around there was sign of some yellow puss that was scraped away. my husband and I would soak her feet in hot water with Epsom salt for as long as she can tolerate, but we try to at least get her in there for 10 to 15 minutes. Then my husband would apply Neosporin and wrap up her foot. We have also used sprays on the wound as well Tylan 50. I'm worried I didn't get it. Now she's red on top of her foot. Is it still infected?
I forgot to mention her other foot has it, too, but I can't get the scab off so we've been treating it and bandaging it up. The first bumblefoot is her initial problem, there second photo is her other foot.
Any suggesting for both?
