Long story short, I started with 6 chickens and was left with 2 Austrolorp hens that are 7 months old. Because I lost hens (part of the long story) I got 2 new RIRs to integrate into the flock (one just started laying, the other has not yet). They were introduced into the coop a few days ago. Each day is a little bit better, but now I see that one of the new girls has bumble foot. After looking on other threads I am going to deal with it (so thankful for all of the info and step by step photos!) but should I wait a little longer until the chickens have all gotten used to each other a bit more? I hate to stress her out even more by having hurt feet at this time, but I know I need to get it done. Any thoughts? Maybe it won't even phase her?
