Bumblefoot??

There is white soft stuff underneath when i lifted up a bit, is that okay?

It seems good, im flaking it off. But, its just like a top layer, once i take those bits off theres nothing under it but some soft skin, i can leave that right?

That puss. :sick Is it stringy? Its good that you got to that! Nice work!
You'll want to remove all of that before wrapping. Use a syringe to flush it out, and tweezers to pull the rest out.
It was not stringy, and didn’t move when touching it. It actually disappeared now, but theres a puffier red area on the side. Think its just some skin.

Okay, so i wrapped her foot, because its 10:00 PM and its getting late. Would it be bad if i just finished it up tomorrow? Or should i undo the wrapping and dig some stuff out?

You can finish it tomorrow, though you might have to pull of a small scab. If it wasn't stringy and wasn't coming out, it may be tissue that looked like puss from the angle. Either way, it looks like you got down to the healthy tissue, nice work!

Thanks SO much! I could not do this with out you, seriously.

Thats fine, i didn’t mind it. It was just time consuming, and im going to start wayyy earlier tomorrow, like at 1:00 PM. It was probably mostly me for it being time consuming. It was my first time so i was trying to be super delicate and all.

It is very time consuming! It takes a while to soak, and pluck, and soak, and pluck. It used to take my hours. I actually joined BYC for bumble foot, I had 4 chickens with it. It took me forever to get them all done.

I'm so happy I can help. 😊

Really? Wow! Im glad you got it fixed.

Yeah, i know i keep saying it, i just really appreciate it. Im glad to be atleast going somewhere, i want to get it done tomorrow hopefully. (I have only started one foot, i figured it would be better so i can figure out a method and stuff first.)

Should i be digging down from the skin? Im just curious, because i would imagine stuff is under the skin.
