Apologies, as I know there's many threads on this already. I have 9 ducklings, 7 of which were hatched on 8/22 and 2 of which were hatched on 8/15. One of the 8/15 ducks, George, has these raised areas on the metatarsal pads on both feet, and I'm unsure if they're a callus or bumblefoot. I've looked at about 100 threads on the topic, but I'm new to ducks.

Can anyone tell me what their thoughts are? If it is bumblefoot, I have some threads bookmarked for treatment. Just want to be sure. Photos below.

What are they walking on? Doesn’t look like bumble yet. Might want to try some warm Epsom salt soaks just the feet not the whole V body since you don’t want him drinking the solution. See if the soaks help.

They were on puppy pads for the first week, and now pine shavings that I turn over and layer dry on top. Thank you, I'll give that a try this evening.
Have you tried washing his feet? In case it's caked on poop?

I wouldn't think it's bumblefoot since you still have them in a brooder.
We hope that Georgette is a girl haha, but we call her George. I washed them 2 days ago because they were pretty disgusting and I noticed poop stuck in the little crevices. I'll wash again this evening and see if anything changes.

Another thing is ammonia burns if covering the poop they may still be getting their feet onto poop I know it’s unavoidable but best thing is to take out real soiled places and add fresh bedding
I definitely do that! I check multiple times a day and use tongs to remove poop as much as possible.
