Bumblefoot!

I am fairly new to having chickens, and 5 of my 11 chickens have bumblefoot. I treated it yesterday by pulling out the head, but the isolation is proving to be a problem. I sectioned off a section of the coop and they are staying there, but they are very stressed and are all trying to get to each-other. Is it ok for them to be together or is the isolation necessary?

I would not seperate. It just makes them more stressed. I treated my rooster for it over the summer and he went right back in after his foot was wrapped. 5/11 chickens having it does seem a lot. What is the footing in the coop and what is the roosting bar size?

I have a few roosting bars one is a 5x6 board another is a 2x4 and the other one is just a wooden dowel.

You don't need to separate unless a bird is not able to walk normally and might get attacked. Once the feet are treated and wrapped so they stay clean and dry, they can go back with everyone. I would look for a cause since there are so many with it. Rocky ground, jumps that are too high from roosts, make sure roosts are not splintering. Etc. Anything that can cause a tiny injury to the foot that can let in bacteria can be the start of bumblefoot. Jumping down from roosts too far is pretty common. If they are doing that then setting up some steps (haybale, blocks) can help, or a ramp.
