Could this chick have bumblefoot? I noticed it was eating the food laying down, it is walking but seems to prefer stay put.
If so what do I do?

I am a new chicken owner and would like some advice on this. I know you guys are much better than Google haha

Thank you!!

Does this chick have friends to run around with?
Is he outside in the fresh air/sunshine?

Are you feeding a chick starter that is 18-22% protein?

Laying down to eat is a bit worrisome. Raise the feeder a little higher if it's on the ground.

It wouldn't hurt to also give him 1/4tablet B-Complex daily for a few weeks to see if this helps with leg support.

Yes it is outside with friends and fresh air. I only noticed this behavior Today. It is eating start feed with that medicine that is suppose to be in, I dont know the amount of protein it has. But that was what I did, I put some water out with B complex, I will keep on doing daily and see if she improves.

Thank you so much

Feed looks good.

I'd give him the vitamin directly (orally) or crush it up and offer it in a small treat for him to eat.

Putting it in water, he's not going to get the therapeutic dose of the vitamins.
