Did a pus kernal come out with the scab that was removed? Have you tried to manipulate the open wound to see if any pus comes out? Bumble kernals are usually semi-solid or cream-cheese like kernals (sometimes it is stringy). Unless that is removed, the infection is still there and will continue to inflame.

How is she walking now?

You can apply either a drawling salve (Tractor Supply has Prid) or an antibiotic ointment and gently wrap the foot in self-adheasive bandages (I use the 1 inch wide ones). Be careful not to get the bandage too tight as it can cut off circulation and kill the foot. Soak, apply, wrap daily until the kernal rises to the surface and can be removed.

Had a user on here swear by Espom Salt poltice for quick resolve of bumble foot, but I haven't tried it yet. Tractor supply may have it.
