Bump on pullet beak.

I have a pullet that hatched in September.

I’ve never had this. I just was wondering if anyone knows what this is or how to deal with it. It could just be her anatomy, but I’ve never had a hen with this.

My concern is that she was injured through the fence when either an owl or raccoon came by.
Or that it’s something worse….

I just want to make her life as happy and healthy as possible.

It doesn’t seem to bug her. She just acts like the rest of the hens.

Then I would not be concerned unless its growing. I doubt it is because of a animal attack but I am not sure. One of my hens toes are crooked, but she is completly normal and happy, so I just let her be.

If she’s acting normal otherwise, I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s likely scar tissue from an old injury
